These images were created using matte painting, a technique that combines photo manipulation, digital painting, and 3D elements. Matte painting is often used in architectural visualization to produce grand scenes that would otherwise be difficult or impossible to capture with a camera.
For this project, I explored three different environments to understand the process - from concept to final image. The base sketches were generated using various AI, which I then refined in Photoshop to achieve the desired realism. I also created animated versions in After Effects and Premiere Pro, adding motion and atmosphere to bring the images to life.
This project has been a valuable learning experience, allowing me to deepen my understanding of lighting, textures, and composition to create immersive and believable environments.
